Tricks & Treats and other childhood tales

Singapore Memories: A Gastronomic Literary Series breaks new ground in local literature by being the first ever home-grown collection of food memoirs—the internationally popular style of literary non-fiction that explores the relationship between food and the human condition. Singapore Memories: A Gastronomic Literary Series will be a collection of five volumes. Each volume, ranging from 112 – 144 pages, will be available in paperback form in the first edition.

The first three books in the series—by Joycelyn Shu, Devagi Sanmugam and Damien D’Silva—will be released in mid-quarter of 2011. Following that, two other volumes by notable personalities in the local food scene will be released in last quarter 2011. Also available is a special edition gift set, which will come with a gorgeously designed hard slipcase that will hold all five volumes.
